President – Kevin Kim
Kevin Kim is a fourth-year Chemical Engineering student and is on the pre-medicine track with a minor in Mathematics. As the President, Kevin oversees the operations of Alpha Epsilon Delta, manages the director board, and finds speakers for the general body meetings. He also collaborates with other organizations to further the success of Alpha Epsilon Delta. Kevin is currently volunteering for the Mobile Outreach Clinic as a Care Coordinator. He enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and running with his roommate's dog. After graduation, Kevin plans on attending medical school with hopes of becoming an Internal Medicine physician.
Member Vice President – Samantha Saffer
Samantha Saffer is a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program, on the Pre-Physician’s Assistant track, with a minor in Disabilities in Society. As the Member Vice President, Samantha oversees the activities of all the members of AED. She helps to coordinate and execute meetings, oversees several divisions, facilitates all member resources, and deals with all member related tasks and issues. Samantha is currently working as a medical scribe at North Florida Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. She enjoys volunteering as a tutor at the local elementary schools. Following her undergraduate career, Samantha plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences prior to advancing toward her professional career.
Electee Vice President – David DiMauro
David DiMauro is a fourth-year student majoring in Biology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences and is on the Pre-Pharmacy track. As Alpha Epsilon Delta’s Electee Vice President, David oversees the activity of the newest members of AED. He plans and executes recruitment week in the fall and spring semesters, plays a major role in new member selection and is in charge of the education and successful transition of electees into AED.
Treasurer – Phyllis Chovoor
Phyllis Chovoor is a fourth-year student majoring in Microbiology and Nutritional Sciences and is on the Pre-Medicine track. As Alpha Epsilon Delta’s Treasurer, Phyllis oversees Fiscals and Philanthropy divisions and manages all financial accounts and transactions for the organization. In addition, she collects member dues, manages the Venmo and Paypal accounts, orders cords and sashes for graduating members, and plans the end of semester banquets. In her spare time, Phyllis is a Care Coordinator for the Mobile Outreach Clinic, volunteers and conducts research for the Fun & Fit Wellness Program, and strives to live a healthy and wholesome lifestyle. After graduation, Phyllis plans to take a growth year, attend medical school the following year, and become a pediatric endocrinologist.
Webmaster – Parker Bomar
Parker Bomar is a third-year student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program and is on the Pre-Medicine track. As Alpha Epsilon Delta’s Webmaster, Parker maintains the function and security of UFAED.org and all of AED’s digital assets. He also trains the Executive and Director Boards, as well as members and electees, in site usage. In his spare time, Parker serves as a Care Coordinator at the Mobile Outreach Clinic, enjoys playing beach volleyball, and frequently attends Gator sporting events as a proud member of the Brome Boys. His favorite part about joining AED is the lifelong friendships that he has made. After graduation, Parker plans on attending the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Auburn University and studying ophthalmology to specialize in cataract surgery.
Secretary – Clint Earl
Clint Earl is a fourth-year student majoring in Biology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences and is on the Pre-Pharmacy track. As Alpha Epsilon Delta’s Secretary, Clint is in charge of turning new members into national members and creating the weekly Pulse Report full of upcoming events. He also provides all of the food for the bimonthly meetings and will be planning the Biennial Convention taking place in March of 2018. In his spare time, Clint is a Learning Assistant for Fundamentals of Human Nutrition, loves to rollerblade, and enjoys spending time with his friends in AED. After graduation, Clint plans of attending pharmacy school with hopes of becoming a community pharmacist.
