For some reason the flyer attachment had to be sent in a separate email. My apologies everyone!

Greetings AED!

I am very pleased to announce a truly wonderful opportunity being shared with AED through the Climb for Cancer Foundation! From April 30th though May 5th Ron Farb will be taking 20 UF students on a trip to Costa Rica to hike trails, participate in adventure excursions, perform community service, learn from pediatric oncologists, and of course, raise money for local families afflicted by the tyranny of cancer.
Please note that this trip is a large commitment of both time, effort, and money. The $1,275 trip cost does not include airfare (~$200-400) nor the additional CFC fundraising expected of each participant (~$500).
Now let me clarify I have no additional details about the trip besides what is provided in the flyer.  This email is simply to get the word out there so you guys can start thinking about the trip!

This trip is less closely affiliated with AED than the trip to North Carolina and Virginia that we conducted this past August. Thus, I am not sure if I will be taking as much of leadership role as I did for our last trip. Additionally until UF decides to announce the date of the CLAS spring 2017 graduation ceremony, I am not even sure if I can attend the trip myself.

Thus, I would ask that everyone please refrain from asking me questions about trip specifics until I get to work out more details with Ron over the next few weeks. I promise to keep everyone interested in the trip updated throughout the entire process! With that said if you have a question that absolutely cannot wait you may email Ron Farb directly at [email protected].
Official sign ups for the trip are not yet open but if you have serious interest in the trip please put your name of this google doc:
Do not worry this google doc is not a binding contract, simply an initial interest form.
I encourage anyone with the time and monetary means to highly consider participating in this incredible opportunity. The CFC trip AED participated in August was a truly life changing experience and this Costa Rica trip looks to be shaping up to be an even more incredible experience!

Sincerely,

Corey Fisher
